The brain behind the brand of BONFIGLIO is Anna-Maria Bonfiglio who was forces by her passion and fascination to start her own business.
Her passionate Italian heritage as well as the dressmaker genes from her mother seem to be the perfect precondition to become a designer. The brand not only stands for young and urban designs that are not look alike, but also a sustainable thought into the future of our planet and society is something that is mandatory for BONFIGLIO.
Anna has a very international background. Born in 1993 in Switzerland with half Italian and half Polish blood. Her father was born in Sicily, Italy and her mother in Krakow, Poland. Since her father had to be flexible for his work in the transportation and logistic sector, Anna and her two brothers moved together with their parents from Switzerland to Italy, to Austria, to Switzerland and back to Austria, where Anna is currently living.
In 2007 she applied for a design school since she had high fascinations for fashion since young age. Although she passed the qualifying examination she decided to study advertising and brand management. Her passion for fashion combined with her creative mind were finally leading to the fashion Start-Up Bonfiglio, a dream that came true for Anna-Maria Bonfiglio.
